PHH NE Ohio Chapter Replaces Dangerous Chimney

Last Updated 1/28/2025Posted in NE Ohio Chapter Projects, Chapter Projects

Marc A., a US Marine Corp Vet, lives on the Westside of Cleveland, OH He reached out to Purple Heart Homes for some help with his chimney. He originally thought that the only problem was that some of the mortar had fallen out. It could just use a little patch up! Turns out the entire chimney was ready to just fall over. The only thing holding it together was a few bricks near the top. This was a problem for Marc and his wife. The chimney could collapse onto the roof and cause some serious damage. Also, Marc and his wife look after their grandkids and they often like to play in the yard. Again, not safe!Purple Heart Homes NEO contracted with Karbella Construction. We replaced the entire chimney. They took it apart down to the roof line and built a new chimney.Problem solved! All of this work was done at no vost to the Veteran.
