PHH NE Ohio Chapter Renovates Veterans Home with New Windows and Doors
Meet Joshua A. Joshua is a US Marine Corp Veteran. He served 2 Combat Tours in Iraq. His unit was the first contingent of US Marines deployed from their ship to Iraq. Like All Marines, he is a Combat Infantryman, but also an Aviation Mechanic who also served as a Machine Gunner on Helicopters during his deployements.Joshua has more than "paid his dues" in service to our country. His service has left him 100% disabled, but he will still help anyone and give you the shirt off his back. He exemplifies everything the Marine Corp represents, and it was our pleasure to help he and his family. His friends from North Olmsted VFW Post 7647 referred Joshua to Purple Heart Homes NEO, and asked if we could help him and his family. The windows and doors on his house were so bad that in the winter snow would blow into the house and ice would form on the inside. Most of the windows could not open or close. This presented a terrible problem for Joshua and his family.Purple Heart Homes NEO, with some additional financial assistance from North Olmsted VFW Post 7647 and their Auxiliary, replaced all of the windows and doors in Joshua's home. Wagner Home Improvement from Westlake Ohio did an Outstanding job on this project. This is the second project we have done with Wagner's, and they are awesome.I thought everyone would like to know what all of your donations are used for and how we help our Veterans right here at home.
